Although those species doesn't exist in reality. Had a little bad feeling, everytime when I was exterminating the next species. The only play-through I couldn't fully enjoy where my xenophobic purgers. I also enjoyed some xenophile materialists species, trying to befriend their neighbours (sadly most of the time those are evangelists zealots). mid and end-game offer to little to give a fulfilling play-through if you abstain from war, at least in my opinion.īut if federations ever get better fleshed out to some sort of EUIV HRE in space, my xenophile pacifist space-foxes will surly made a return. Sadly I can't imagine to play some pacifists in this game at the moment.

Weaker civilizations get conquered and integrated, till they are assimilated and serve the one mighty cultural leader, the emperor. I got the game on a disc and want to install the bigger galaxy mod Press J to jump to the feed. Leading over time to a mulitspecies empire with one faith or one philosophy, depending on the how I understand the spirituality concept in that play-through. Love spiritualists or fanatic spiritualists, sometimes militarists, sometimes collectivists. Just trying to have more fun with Stellaris so what do you do and how do you do it. What should I be doing then? What should I be expecting? Do you play it like a 4X game turn based game but in real time, or do you play it differently? I find the game goes too slow even on the fastest speed. So I like to know how does everyone play Stellaris. Thing is, maybe I am playing Stellaris wrong.

So now after taking time off Stellaris I see a new patch is coming in October. I installed mods and really had a good time while short it was, money well spent.

While vanilla Stellaris I didn't like because I want more control over my planets and kept reading how horrible Sectors are that turned me off even more. I got it about a month after release because of the sound track.

I was playing Masters of Orion at the time so never bought Stellaris day one. I guess the "fan boys" have put the game on a pedestal so high and putting the games other people play down, that I had huge expectations of the game. When I play Stellaris I usually play it like as I would a turn based 4X game like Civ or MOO. I am curious how do people play Stellaris.
